Pieniny

The smallest National park with plenty of traditions, natural and cultural beauties

National Park Pieniny is located in the northern Slovakia, on the Polish border. Dunajec river is running through its beautiful gorge. We will experience rafting on traditional wooden boats, which were for centuries used for transportation of goods and people. We will visit Červený kláštor monastery, famous for the legend about flying monk Cyprian.

The best views

Beautiful views to the peak Tri Koruny, rock formations and meanders of Dunajec river. Also amazing scenery to High Tatras from a different angle.

Bicycle

After rafting, we will bicycle back to Červený Kláštor, 9km long trail is leading along the river.

Culture

Local culture, legends, traditons of gorals, Carthusian monastery.

What you can experience

In the morning

Meeting point, transfer to Pieniny.

During a day

Rafting on traditional wooden boats with the local men-Gorals, enriched by legends and beautiful scenery to the canyon of Dunajec river. We will finish our sailing at Slovak-Polish border in Lesnica and enjoy the lunch at traditional restaurant.

The trail back

For the way back, we will use the bikes. The trail is 9km long and leads along the Dunajec river. We will enjoy one more time the sceneries which we had from the boat.
